• “BuildLens”, “we”, “our”, “us” – BuildLens AI Ltd
• “You”, “User”, “Customer” – the individual or business using our services
• “Report” – a personalised BuildLens cost analysis generated using your uploaded plans
• “Digital Product” – templates, planners, guides, downloadable files
• “Platform” – the website and associated systems
• “Content” – any information, files, data, or tools provided by BuildLens

3. Service Description

BuildLens provides:

• AI-assisted measurement extraction
• Professional cost analysis reports
• Renovation planning tools
• Educational guides and resources
• A secure platform for uploading property plans

BuildLens does not provide:

• Architectural design advice
• Structural engineering
• Legal, financial, or tax advice
• Contractor recommendations
• Formal QS services (unless explicitly stated)

Reports are estimates, compiled using professional methodology, real construction data, and your supplied information.

4. Ordering & Uploads

Once a report is purchased:

• You must complete the upload funnel.
• You must provide accurate and legible plans.
• BuildLens generates a unique report based solely on the information provided.

BuildLens is not responsible for inaccuracies caused by:

• Incorrect or unclear uploads
• Outdated or partial plans
• Missing information
• Inaccurate room measurements or assumptions

If you upload the wrong files, contact us before the report is generated.

5. Delivery of Reports

Reports are delivered via a secure download link emailed to you.

Once the report is downloaded (after consent), your right to cancel ends.

6. Refund Policy

• No refunds once the report has been downloaded
• Refunds may be available only if the report has not yet been generated
• Digital products (planners, templates, guides) are non-refundable once downloaded
• Technical failures on our side may qualify for a refund

7. Licence to Use BuildLens Content

You are granted a non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use:

• Reports purchased
• Planner tools
• Guides and templates

You may not:

• Share, publish, or resell any BuildLens content
• Use reports for professional commercial services without written permission
• Train AI models using BuildLens outputs
• Upload BuildLens materials to third-party websites

Businesses must obtain a commercial licence.

8. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful, harmful, or copyrighted materials
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the BuildLens system
• Use BuildLens to provide paid consulting services unless authorised
• Misuse or overload our platform

9. AI-Assisted Processing

BuildLens uses AI tools to extract measurements from your uploaded plans.

BuildLens does not use customer plans, images, or data to train public large language models (LLMs). More detail is provided in the Data & AI page.

10. Disclaimer

BuildLens reports are professional estimations, not legally binding quotations.

Actual costs may vary due to:

• Market fluctuations
• Contractor pricing differences
• Structural discoveries during construction
• Unknown site conditions
• Regulatory changes

BuildLens accepts no liability for decisions based on estimated costs.

You must seek professional architectural, engineering, or legal advice where appropriate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• BuildLens is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
• BuildLens’ total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product

This includes but is not limited to:

• Project delays
• Contractor disputes
• Planning application outcomes
• Misinterpretations of the report
• Hidden structural issues not identifiable from provided plans

Your data is handled in accordance with:

• Abuse of the platform
